When Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Gregory opened Gregory’s Laundry Cleaners in 1939, who would’ve thought two more generations would follow them into the family business by following their dedicated hard-working example.

By the end of World War II, sons Fred and Bob were among Gregory’s one-hundred-plus employees, and in 1972, they expanded the business into the growing market of formal wear rentals. Buddy and David Gregory, grandsons of the founders, operated Gregory’s Formal Wear with the same dedication to quality that had sustained their family all along. They were consistently voted “Best Men’s Fashions of the Upstate.”
